I wasn’t planning on seeing the movie anyway so this is just another reason for me not to see it. Here’s a good article from ChannelAPA on the racist yellowface in the much advertised film Cloud Atlas.

So I was looking to buy some dvds of Asian films and I kinda noticed something…
or rather a lack of something. 

Although I think thoughts of a Jeremy Lin movie are extremely premature, this webpage makes a convincing argument for Godfrey Gao, a Taiwanese Canadian actor, to play Jeremy Lin in autobiographical movie. He happens to be Louis Vuitton’s first male, Asian model as well and has also been recently cast in an upcoming young adult fantasy movie.

The podcast of the episode with the Li Dong interview has been up for download for a while. I just forgot to post it earlier. He’s the director, writer and actor of Model Minority web series.

The truth is that Spider-Man is actually two people and one of them is Asian.
