Montreal Alouettes Win the Grey Cup! (damn that was close)

It wasn’t looking good in the 4th quarter but the Alouettes came back from 10-20 and won 28-27 with a field kick and no time remaining.  Thank goodness they didn’t choke again but they were damn lucky too.

I don’t follow football much but I was always aware of Vancouver-born Bryan Chiu (6’1, 288lbs) who having played his entire career with the Alouettes is one of the top centers in the CFL, having won a grey cup and been awarded CFL All-Star and Most Outstanding Linesman in his career.  There was a recent article on the CBC Sports website that’s very much worth reading.  This one was from a few years back.  Here’s the most recent football related article.
