Fringe Festival 2017

The Fringe festival is an annual festival in Montreal showcasing an eclectic mix of shows at very affordable prices. Here are a few interesting shows to check out.

Chung & Co Mystery Hour

This magic show will be performed by Chung and a mystery guest. His previous partner McSorley who was at last year’s show is no longer in Montreal 😦 but with sold out shows last year, this year’s show is bound to be just as good and to sell out just as fast. June 9-18. Also check out their website.

The Monkey King Gets His Staff

I’m assuming this will be some sort of Peking Opera style theater performance. It will be performed by Jingju Canada. June 9-18.

Pluck’d

This performance is by Bald Angry Asian Productions. Official description:
Pluck’d tells the story of Chinese immigrant family torn apart by gaps of generation, culture, and language reunited by the beauty of Christmas and the protection of Saran wrap. June 8-17. Apparently told by a man and a turkey.
